Reviews & Critisicms;

"The Digipaks I've bought end up with frayed corners, and my jewel case albums get a little scratched. However, jewel cases are replaceable if you take out the inserts, but Digipak album art is a bit more vibrant. I do personally prefer jewel cases since they're somewhat more robust."

"jewel cases all the way. more robust. sure the plastic can crack but that's easily replaced digipacks look a bit nicer in general though my biggest gripe is i think usually they won't fit into CD stackers very well"

"Jewel cases for me all the way. I hate Digipak. They are actually inferior, if you look closely at the print. And they try to charge people more for them as if they are superior. ☺And if you want to scan them for cover art, I find them so much harder, and have a lot of noise. I just hope Jewel cases stay around."

"Jewel cases, look better and less likely to deteriorate."

"I think that digipacks lend themselves to a little more artistic creativity than jewel cases, and I do prefer their look – but they do tend to get damaged, and often don't fit properly into CD racks (either just too thick or a bit too thin)."

"jewel cases break. digipaks are more expensive for the artist although are environmentally friendly"
